Most of those cited in the list are from Europe, but the government has remained confident that they will be either arrested by their home countries or repatriated to Cameroon.

Their names were made public on the sidelines of unveiling of plans to help Internally Displaced Anglophones and Refugees in Nigeria who have ran away from home following military clampdown on villages.

Names declared Wanted by Cameroon

Mark Bara, alias Bareta (Belgium), Ayaba Cho Lucas (Norway), Tapang Ivo Tanku, Akwanga Ebenezer, Dereck Mbongo, Nsoh Nkem Foncha, Chris Anu and Yinkfu Nsangong (United States of America), Shey Kaavi Wo Melim (Austria), Akoson Pauline Diale ,  Akoson Raymond and Brado Etchu Tabenyang (Nigeria), John Mbah Akuro and Larry Eyong (South Africa).

The list further states that they organize fundraising to buy arms and fund terrorist activities.

In response, one of the activists, Mark Bareta said, “From the names mentioned above by the government, we now understand why we must collaborate once and for all and push them out of Ambazonia. Those whose names are not there are still on the waiting list and all of us are affected. Southern Cameroonians must not give up. It’s now a matter of live free or die.”

The report by the government further revealed that since  last June 11, 2018, 84 men in uniform  have lost their lives including; 32 soldiers, 42 gendarmes, 7 Police Officers, 2 prison warders and 1 eco guard.

However, the report by the government failed to take into accounts dozens of villages burnt by the military, houses looted and hundreths killed by Soldiers.

The report also failed to note that it was becaus eof military excesses that thousand fled their homes to neighboring Nigeria while others are IDPs.
