It was launched by the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Cameroon, Hendrik Kasteel, on Thursday July 25, at Akwa Palace.
“ MTN Fusion is all about business growth and creating an environment of wealth for every Cameroonian by stepping up trust through productivity, security and a huge platform for expansion, such that Cameroon becomes a digital player “ said Kasteel.
The new digital platform has as goal to create a digital boom in Cameroon, in order to ameliorate the current services it offers to all it’s clients, be it corporate, public or small and medium-sized enterprises with specific standards, rules and principles for all its partners to incorporate and create more partnerships.
“ The aim of the new digital technology is to become the preferred digital enabler for enterprises and the corporate world, simply put, MTN wants to be the choice of the market”, affirmed Itumeleng Kobedi, Senior Manager with MTN Group.
“Our new philosophy for value creation offers complementary value chai competencies, provide ICT and other complementary technology solutions and services and expand markets. We also create service oriented organization leverage for external ICT capabilities and experiences”. Kobedi added.
While presenting the new digital technology MTN Fusion, and how it functions, the General manager of MTN Business, Frank Gerald Kom, highlighted major setbacks his company faces with it’s partners.
“Lack of dialogue or communication is one major challenge MTN had recorded in past years working with its various partners, so we need frank dialogue, collaboration and support from all our partners for the promotion of digital technologies so we can achieve together. “ he noted.
